Epic sunset at Reservoir Lake, Central Park #1 of 4.
It was one of those ominous evenings as the heavy snow storm clouds were clearing that Mother Nature put on a spectacular array of colorful episodes in the sky. The geese were in full form during their annual 3-week layover, in which they align themselves perfectly across the Reservoir Lake in Central Park. The Manhattan skyline is a silhouette against the massive cloud formations. The strong colors from the saturated Kodak Ektar film captured the surrealism in the atmosphere. This is the first exposure that I made in a series of four, each taken approximately 10-15 minutes apart. This sprawling image recommended in sizes 72”x40,” 60”x34” and 48”x27”.
