Epic sunset at Reservoir Lake, Central Park #2 of 4.
It was one of those ominous evenings as the heavy snow storm clouds were clearing that Mother Nature put on a spectacular array of colorful episodes in the sky. The geese were in full form during their annual 3-week layover, in which they align themselves perfectly across the Reservoir Lake in Central Park. The intensity of the sky-fire sunset was at its peak. The lake and sky a deep red as if we were suddenly on Mars. The saturated Kodak Ektar film was a perfect choice for this scene as it tends to grab a hold of reds and accentuate them. This is the second exposure that I made in a series of four, each taken approximately 10-15 minutes apart.
